Delete your account

Your account is yours. You can erase it, and everything we store about you, whenever you want — you don't have to ask us for permission or wait for a reply.

From the app

  1. 1 Open PetLover and go to Settings.
  2. 2 Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  3. 3 Type your password and confirm. We ask for it again on purpose: an unlocked phone should not be enough to wipe someone's account.

The deletion happens straight away. There is no waiting period and no way to undo it.

Already uninstalled the app?

Write to [email protected] from the email address of your account and ask us to delete it. We do it by hand and reply when it's done.

What gets deleted

  • Your account and your profile (email, name, phone, country).
  • Every pet and every medical record stored on our servers, along with their photos.
  • Your cloud backups.
  • Your lost-pet reports.
  • Any sighting you reported about someone else's pet stops pointing at you — the note stays so the owner doesn't lose the trail, but your name and phone are erased from it.

Two things worth knowing first

Cancel your subscription separately

Deleting your account does not cancel a paid plan — subscriptions are billed by Google Play, not by us. Cancel it in the Play Store (Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions) before you delete, or Google will keep charging you.

The data on your phone is not on our servers

PetLover keeps your pets on your phone, so the app works with no signal. Deleting your account erases what we hold; to erase the copy on your phone, uninstall the app. Do that second — once the app is gone you can no longer sign in to delete the account.
